Statement of Faith

God – There is one God who has existed forever as three equal persons; the Father, the Son and the Spirit. He is ethically and morally unchangable; his nature and essence are forever the same.

The Bible – The Bible was written down by men who were inspired by God and is complete. It is without error as originally recorded, and is accurate in every category of knowledge, including science and history.

Humanity – Man was created in the image of God for the purpose of giving him glory, and is therefore of tremendous worth. But because of his sin nature and failure to be holy, mankind has experienced a separation from God.

Jesus – Jesus is God. He is the Creator of everything. He became a man, born of the Virgin Mary by miraculous conception. He lived a sinless human life to offer himself as a perfect sacrifice for the sins of all. He accomplished this by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days and returned to heaven. He is currently an intercessor with a very holy Father on behalf of those who have chosen to trust him for eternal life. He will return again to earth as promised in scripture.

Salvation – Whoever is drawn by God, repents of his sins, believes in and trusts the completed work of Jesus becomes, by God's grace, a child of God. The perfection of God's work, and the promises of several statements of the Bible give the believer assurance that his salvation will endure.

The Holy Spirit – The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth and guidance in doing what is right.
